BRITISH Speedway has introduced an additional extension of the charity partnership between the World Speedway Riders’ Affiliation and the Nationwide Improvement League.
The WSRA have given their backing to the game’s third tier since 2023, initially by linking up with Oxford Chargers, after which supporting the NDL as a complete from the next season.
The competitors will once more be often known as the WSRA Nationwide Improvement League in 2026, and the six golf equipment will work alongside the WSRA in selling the charity.
Initially based because the Veteran Speedway Riders’ Affiliation again in 1957, the charity turned the WSRA in 2006 and now has over 700 members comprising former riders, officers and speedway supporters.
The flagship of the WSRA is the Nationwide Speedway Museum at Hertfordshire Zoo, Broxbourne, and their lively programme of social occasions culminates within the annual end-of-season Awards Dinner.
British Speedway chairman Rob Godfrey stated: “This has been a profitable partnership for the final two seasons, and we’re all more than happy to see it proceed.
“Our due to the committee for extending their backing of the NDL and displaying their help for the Improvement degree of the game.
“I’m positive the six golf equipment concerned will probably be placing on loads of aggressive racing this season below the title of the WSRA Nationwide Improvement League.”
