Monaco auction to feature four iconic F1 cars wort...

4 legendary Components 1 vehicles are set to function in RM Sotheby’s upcoming Monaco public sale, with an anticipated mixed worth of over €10million. 

The public sale, which is able to happen on the Grimaldi Discussion board on 25 April 2026, will embrace a 1978 Ferrari 312 T3, 1991 Ferrari 642, 1984 Toleman TG183B and 1979 Fittipaldi F6/A.

1978 Ferrari 312 T3

Estimate: €4.5million – €5.5million

The 1978 Ferrari 312 T3 was pushed by Carlos Reutemann in 4 rounds of the 1978 F1 season and by Gilles Villeneuve within the 1979 Argentinian Grand Prix. Designed by Mauro Forghieri, the 312 T3 is powered by a naturally-aspirated, 3-litre, flat-12 Ferrari Tipo 015 engine, boasting roughly 515 horsepower and 236 lb ft of torque.

1991 Ferrari 642

Estimate: €3million – €4million

The 1991 Ferrari 642 chassis on supply, no. 125, served as a spare automobile for Alain Prost and Jean Alesi on the Brazilian and San Marino Grands Prix. Designed by Steve Nichols and Jean-Claude Migeot, the 642 is powered by a 3.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine. 

Whereas the Maranello outfit hoped for a championship title with the 642, its greatest grand prix end was second on the 1991 United States Grand Prix with Prost on the wheel.

The 642 chassis 125 comes with a spare rear wing, jacks, starter and tyre warming blankets.

1984 Toleman TG183B

Estimate: €2.8million – €3.8million

The 1984 Toleman TG183B was pushed by three-time champion Ayrton Senna on his residence debut on the Brazilian Grand Prix. The TG183B was an up to date model of the TG183 and was launched for the 1983 season, operating till 4 races into the 1984 season.

1979 Fittipaldi F6/A

Estimate: €500,000 – €700,000


The 1979 Fittipaldi F6/A was raced by Emerson Fittipaldi in seven rounds of the 1979 season, together with a seventh-place end at Watkins Glen. The chassis on supply, no. F-6-A1, incorporates a rebuilt 3.0-litre Cosworth DFV engine with lower than 400km on the clock.

The F6/A additionally competed within the 2024 Monaco Historic Grand Prix, and made appearances on the 2021 Goodwood Pageant of Pace and the 2024 French Grand Prix assist race.
